Pathways Β· For internationally trained physicians and their sponsors

Every route you qualify for. Side by side.

Licensure pathway comparison sourced to the regulator, including the routes you cannot take and why. Decisions worth years and thousands of dollars deserve better than fragmented, optimistic information.

The comparison on the right is live. Change the profile and watch the routes re-sort, including the ones that close.

Two of the eight destinations, with their real routes, rules, and estimates. Costs and times are route-level estimates and exclude living costs, travel, and relocation.

8
Destination countries with published routes
15
Explicitly modeled routes, each a versioned object with an eligibility rule
81
Concrete steps, 100% carrying official source citations
44
Official domains cited, 95 citations in total: the regulators themselves

Counted directly from the shipped content, verified 11 June 2026. Time and cost figures are route-level estimates and exclude living costs, travel, relocation, and most courier and translation fees. They say so in the product too.

How it works

Compare. Commit. Execute.

Compare

Pick where you trained and where you want to practise, answer four questions, and every route to that destination appears side by side: time, estimated cost, exam steps, and the licence you end up holding. Routes you do not qualify for stay on screen, greyed, with the reason. Nothing is hidden.

Commit

Choose a route and the platform freezes a personalized, dependency-ordered plan: only the steps that apply to you, in an order that respects what must happen before what. Your plan never silently changes under you; if the underlying route is updated, a banner tells you, and you choose when to look.

Execute

Each step becomes a small workspace: official source links with verified-on dates, estimated fee and elapsed weeks, status, to-dos, dated deadlines, notes, and the documents that step needs, ticked off automatically against your vault.

Your plan orders its steps by stage, respecting what must happen before what:

The 81 steps of the corpus, by stage. 38 steps carry prerequisites; 27 are conditional and appear only when they apply to you.

Bahrain, Kuwait, and Oman are listed in the product as destinations-in-waiting, visibly marked as having no published routes yet. 78 jurisdiction records sit underneath: 54 US states and territories, 10 Canadian provinces, and the three UAE authorities among them. 87 training countries are recognized in matching, driving real branching: five countries skip Australia’s AMC exams entirely, 29 skip New Zealand’s NZREX, and seven make a Gulf exam exemption likely.

The document vault

Upload once. Satisfy everywhere.

57 of the 81 steps require at least one document. The vault tracks ten document types across every journey you ever start: upload a document once and every step that needs it, in every journey, ticks it off automatically.

The concentration is the point: two documents, your licence certificate and a certificate of good standing, unlock 67 step requirements across the corpus. Uploading them is the single highest-leverage thing a user does.

Steps requiring each document

  • Medical licence certificate

    36

  • Certificate of good standing

    31

  • Passport / photo ID

    8

  • CV / rΓ©sumΓ©

    7

  • English test result (OET / IELTS)

    6

  • Medical degree / diploma

    5

  • Medical school transcript

Three further types are tracked and not yet required by a seeded step: licensing exam results, experience letters, and specialist certificates.

The honesty no forum or agency will give you

Built to tell you the inconvenient part.

Ineligibility is a feature

Routes you do not qualify for stay on screen, greyed, with the requirement stated in plain words. Telling somebody early that a route is closed to them, and why, is worth more than any amount of encouragement.

Estimates that say so

Every time and cost figure is labeled a route-level estimate, with the exclusions stated: living costs, travel, relocation, and most courier and translation fees are not included, and the product says exactly that.

A plan that never moves under you

Your journey is a frozen snapshot of the route on the day you committed, with its version number recorded. If the route is updated later, you see a banner telling you so, and you choose when to review the change.

Sourced to the regulator, with dates

All 81 steps carry citations to official domains, each with a verified-on date: the GMC, ECFMG, the Medical Council of Canada, AHPRA, SCFHS, DataFlow, state and provincial boards. A citable reference, not an opinion.

The exam steps on your route are exams Prep teaches.

USMLE, MCCQE Part I, PLAB / MLA AKT, AMC CAT MCQ: the 16 exam steps in the Pathways corpus map onto the licensing exams EdAI Prep prepares you for, from the same certified architecture.
